All 2 axis lathes require that the radius of the diamond tool be consistent in terms of its radius throughout its specified cutting arc, in other words  “Controlled Waviness”. This requires that the deviation from the ideal radius be controlled with greater precision. All our tools are available in both natural and synthetic single crystal diamond. We offer a range of geometries including radius size, rake angle and clearance angles. All diamonds are oriented to present the hardest part of the stone to the cutting radius. Tools are available in both solid shank and inserts. Cutting edges inspected to 800x magnification
